Birding isn't really about birds. It's about noticing, and paying close attention to something wild and free is one of the last quiet joys left. It's also proof that curiosity never has to grow up.

You don't need a life list, a spotting scope, or a field guide with a cracked spine to belong. If you've ever stopped mid-sentence because something flew past the window, you're already one of us. We're here to say that out loud.
